“Passing on the Torch” Programme Series: “Dreams Come True” Itinerary Design Competition (2026/27)

This circular memorandum invites secondary schools (including special schools) to nominate Secondary 1 to 5 students and responsible teachers (including principals) to participate in the captioned Competition.
Details
The Education Bureau (EDB) organises “Passing on the Torch” Programme Series: “Dreams Come True” Itinerary Design Competition under Mainland Exchange Programmes for Students (2026/27) (the Competition). The Competition aims to encourage students to design Mainland exchange programmes covering Beijing or cities in Jiangsu or Shandong province as the destinations. Through data collection, it is expected that students can deepen their understanding of the history and culture, innovative technology, and development opportunities of Beijing, Jiangsu and Shandong provinces, thereby broadening their horizons and cultivating their affection for our country. For details of the Competition, please refer to Annex 1 (Chinese version only).
For schools which would like to nominate students to participate in the Competition, please submit the duly completed application form (Annex 2; Chinese version only) and proposal (Annex 3; Chinese version only) of the required format, which could be downloaded from the designated webpage on the “Passing on the Torch” website (https://passontorch.org.hk/en/hottopics/231/index.html), to the EDB by email (thematicmep2@edb.gov.hk) at or before 1 p.m. on 9 October 2026 (Friday). Applications by post or in person will not be entertained. Late submissions will not be accepted. For the Competition’s major event dates, please refer to Annex 4 (Chinese version only).
